IT Operations Engineer to join DevOps Team at Pitch

We're looking for an IT / SaaS Operations engineer to join our remote team! You'll be planning, implementing, and managing our IT systems and will be central in supporting your colleagues and teams in their day-to-day operations.

You will design and implement automation to make IT processes repeatable, scalable, and secure.
This role works under the DevOps Team and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other awesome and bright engineers.

This is a fantastic time to take over this role as an IT/SaaS Operations engineer as it's a pretty new role, and being in a very flexible and open startup will give you many opportunities to have a big impact.

What you will do

  • Act as a solutions architect and strategist for the SaaS applications and services upon which Pitch relies.
  • Lead projects to audit and optimize our SaaS portfolio, focusing on improvements to security, permissions, automation, scalability, end-user experience, and license usage.
  • Partner with our teams to understand pain points, and use their feedback as an input into our strategic roadmap.
  • Streamline our Identify & Lifecycle Management by integrating our SaaS applications with our identity provider.
  • Rollout and manage an MDM solution that allows to automate and secure our devices.
  • Implement a Service Desk to improve support to our fellow teammates and gather precious metrics to enable us to make data-driven decisions.
  • Find opportunities to integrate, automate and help our teams deliver their wonderful work as efficiently as possible
  • Provide user support when needed and write documentation to enable self-service and self-help where possible.
  • Collaborate with our Security engineers to implement changes or mitigations that help secure Pitch.

What you should offer

  • 4+ years of relevant IT experience
  • Hands-on enterprise experience and expertise with Identity & Access Management, Device Management, SaaS Management Platforms and Service Desk tools
  • Shown success building and configuring tools to automate identity management, employee lifecycle management, and role-based user access
  • Experience in managing identity and access management tools and integrating them to critical SaaS tools.
  • Experience operationalizing and automating IT administration, including complex onboarding/offboarding tasks.
  • Determine the best available products to use for employee's specific use cases, based on competitive analysis and consultation with internal stakeholders.

Would be nice but not necessary to have

  • Experience with our Identity & Access Management tools and processes: Okta, Google, SSO, SAML, SCIM
  • Knowledge of the following Device Management tools: Kandji, Intune, DEP, Zero touch provisioning
  • Service desk experience and some ITSM concepts.
  • Experience with the main tools we use to collaborate:
    • Google Workspaces
    • Notion
    • Slack
    • Zoom
