Facility Manager

Job Objective: Ensuring proper maintenance of company facility and electrical installations

Reports To: Head of Development


Supervises: Facility officers and handymen across all company branches


Other Relationships (Internal & External)

Key internal relationships: Operation and Development

External relationships: 3rd party contractors and vendors.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure and support the constant running of operations across cinemas and the support office by providing maintenance to facilities used for operations. This includes facility, fleet, security, and total appearance of buildings.
  2. Create a conducive and safe environment for staff and guests in the cinemas.
  3. Drive the repair and schedule maintenance of all equipment utilized, owned, or managed by the company.
  4. Coordinate and monitor the activities of handymen within the cinemas.
  5. Implement the health and safety requirements for the company as prepared and directed by the HSE Department.
  6. Maintain the asset register for facilities to ensure proper monitoring and movement of all facility-related assets.
  7. Drive compliance with electrical and non-electrical installation regulations for commercial spaces across sites.
  8. Drive compliance with electrical and non-electrical installation standards on new projects by working with the development team to supervise electrical drawings and installation on new projects.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Education/ Professional Qualification:

  • HND or Bsc, in the Sciences or Engineering preferably.


  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)


Experience: 7 years minimum.
