Human Resources (HR) Intern at Duplo


Duplo is a Lagos-based fintech startup that enables businesses in Africa to digitize their receivables and payables, reduce time-to-cash, lower transaction costs, and generate more revenue from their business customers.


We want to make B2B payments as simple as P2P payment apps. Most business payments in Africa are made offline….yikes. We are on a mission to transform this. This is a unique opportunity. You'll gain hands-on experience and you'll have the resources to take a significant part in the creation of a paradigm-changing product that will impact millions.


Responsibilities:

  • Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team by maintaining digital and electronic records of employees
  • Assist with recruitment process by posting job openings, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and performing employment & background checks
  • Assist with performance management process
  • Assist the HR Team with employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires 
  • Any other tasks assigned


Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
